After a busy year I decided, rather late, to send out the Top Ten list once again.  These are my favorite websites on competitiveness and business development, based on my highly subjective opinion.

Top Ten Websites on Competitiveness and Business Development

1. Dr. Jörg Meyer-Stamer

In 2009, we lost a leading thinker, practitioner and friend when Jörg passed away in May.  This is a link to his papers that show his thought leadership on local and regional development topics, industrial policy and clusters, and his special affinity for Latin America and Brazil, in particular.  You can hear podcasts on his career in two parts:  Part I and Part II and see more of his work at Mesopartner, which he founded.

2. World Economic Forum

Still the global benchmark for competitiveness.  This year’s offering includes special reports on Mexico, Brazil and Africa.

3.  The Competitiveness Institute (TCI)
